It’s time for another FairyLoot unboxing!

The theme this month was “Witches Be Crazy”. I was super excited about this box because I had my suspicions about which book was included, and it turned out I was right! Yay!

Let the unboxing begin!

Let’s begin with the paper stuff. As usual, there was the Fairyscoop, an author letter, and a bookmark.

The sticky notepad is tiny and perfect for my bag. On it, it’s written, “You’re just as sane as I am”.

The FairyLoot box also came with two tarot cards. This time, the artwork was based on the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. I haven’t read that series, and I’m not sure I will. It doesn’t sound like my type of series, but I do like the artwork.

Have you read the Shatter Me series? Let me know in the comments below what you thought about it.

I was planning on buying some warm socks for the winter, but to my surprise, I got a pair in the box. They fit well, too. I just wish they went higher up the legs.

The bath bomb smelled amazing! But it should’ve been wrapped in plastic. Crumbs from it were all over the box. Unfortunately, I don’t have a tub, but my son and I put it in the sink and watched the water turn green, just for the fun of it.

The tote bag isn’t really my style, so I will probably give it away, but it’s a sturdy and practical thing for shopping.

The pin will join my slowly growing collection!

I liked the metal straws that were included in the box. A huge plus was the cleaning brush that came with them. They will come to good use.

My son, on the other hand, wasn’t too fond of them. He thinks whatever you drink with them will leave a metallic taste. I guess I’ll find out when I use them for the first time.

I must admit I was a little bit surprised by the cards. It doesn’t feel like a common thing to get in this digital era. Luckily, my son knew a game we could play.

The cards were pretty with silver edges and characters from the Throne of Glass series, Charmed, Sabrina, and this month’s featured book.

Anyone you recognize?

This month’s book was Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin.

This was the first time I managed to figure out which book was included in the box! I was planning to buy this book, and now, I don’t need to! This is the third time this has happened.

I’m looking forward to reading it!

Have you read it? Let me know in the comments below what you thought. But no spoilers!

This has been a really good FairyLoot year so far. I’ve loved every box I’ve gotten since I started my subscription in December 2018. This is a box I highly recommend. If you’re interested in a subscription or want to know more. Check out FairyLoot here.
